Miscommunications
Inspired by a storyline from a show. Don't put your life on hold for others without proper communication. Relationships are give and take. But if there is a lack of communication or a misunderstanding of time and attention, things can unravel and break down. Never assume that someone understands what you are thinking or feeling. Relationships are complicated. People are complicated. Take care, stay safe and best wishes. Miscommunications By Michelle Morris 05/06/2023 You loved each other You both thought you were doing your best But there were miscommunications That got between clearer heads She thought you put your job first That you didn't take her career seriously You felt you put your career on hold That you were losing opportunities The miscommunication between you It created a chasm over time Until you were standing on opposite sides Losing all rhythm and rhyme Love may seem enough for us But it's just one element of a good relationship She flew away to a new career in Europe While you were left behind without her You loved each other for years But you learned that love isn't everything Maybe over time you'll become friends And never have miscommunications again © Michelle Morris, 2023
