An Abandoned House Awaits
"Can you feel the soul of an abandoned house; can you hear the whispering? " Quote by _Constance La France When an animal knows they are going to die, they find a comfortable place to curl up and they wait. So is it suitable that an abandoned house would be the final respite of a sinner like me! The air would be cool and the noises would be unfamiliar, perhaps a family of raccoons have made their home here? It just so happens I've walked the county over the last year, capturing in my mind all the homes and landscapes that are open. Open in the sense that they are abandoned and no one would know... Absolutely no knowledge of ones presence. It wouldn't take long for hunger to set in and the walls to begin to close in, welcoming death. As I lay down, I would hear the pigeons in the attic cooing, The house would be creaking and I'd imagine spiders in their webs spinning! I could also hear the whispering from my demons in these places, "It's time to come home, prepare to burn!"
