Nature's Lesson of Love
Upon a yonder meadow, where the breeze whispers, I contemplate the possessions that hold mere degrees. For all that I claim in worldly possession pales in the light of heartfelt affection. No trinkets of gold nor fortunes untold can match the treasures held within my heart. Nature's beauty and love's tender embrace transcend earthly gains, displaying ethereal grace. The melodious voices of sparrows that sing remind me of the love that makes my heart rejoice. Their sweet refrain erases all pain, and no vast riches can compare to their song, my solace. In verdant valleys and on lofty mountains high, I find solace in nature's gentle sigh. The wealth of a sunset, with its vibrant hue, outshines all earthly possessions, so few. For what I truly possess is not of this earth but a love that knows no bounds, a priceless rebirth. In words, I shall pen this truth I must tell: Love's essence is the riches in which I dwell. So, I surrender all worldly gain and cherish the love that forever remains. In the spirit of Wordsworth, I now confess that love is the only possession I truly possess. :: 05.14.2023 ::
