You Broke More Then a Heart
He broke more then just her heart, He also made her blood run cold. She nolonger felt the warmth of her soul, The flutter in her heart it used to hum, When she laid in his arms. It's now a rhythmless fod. The shattered mind he left behind, With the ending of a relationship with a text. The cowards way out!. She was never worth the decency of loving heart core, The truth he just didn't love her anymore. She laid picking up the fragments, from the heart he smashed. But that wasn't all he did, she just hid the rest from you. To not feed the narcissistic tendencies in you. Would it of filled you with pleasure to know, You ripped away her only hope, You injured her pride with all the tears that she cried. Knowing that everyone around her was laughing on the inside. They called her a fool for loving you. That she was stupid for believing in you. The dreams she made with you, was actually her only one true wish. Has she thought she was building for a life together, He shivered and chipped away at it with every broken promise. He overlooked her pain, only noticed when her aggression came to play. Not noticing when she poured her heart out into an empty cup he held. He never reciprocated anything back, For months she put up with being shrug off, Banished from ones mind. As he ask for space and time!, Defeated, the fondness started to fade, and resentment took its place. She fell from grace, abandoned by the light. Her saviour was a fake. She allowed the darkness to take her, All she wanted was hes tenderness and love. But the blackness subdued her.
