A Whole Day Spent Saying Sorry
Can one a whole day spend saying 'sorry': Can man fill with 'sorry' back of lorry? Methinks it would make a sight gory Craving 'longest sorry' for one's glory: Someone quite like you hairy or furry To with 'voiced sorry' your favor curry... It was a full day of it to a boss By a stretched woman fearing sad job loss; She had, too, written an apology, Which had permitted some tautology: "I'm working singlehandedly alone; No great help from calls with my handset phone". Really, alone bearing a most cruel cross Once, a rolling stone gathering no moss. Then, work she left for Evangelism, Lately struck by its rare magnetism; Preacher's new message Asceticism: Man should be snubbing all cynicism... Her boss was shocked that her last name is Ross. He'd met twelve Ross that tried nothing gross.
