Easter Speaks
There is no greater love than this, than that a man would lay down his life for his friends. Jesus called me friend long before I ever heard of or knew him. I suspect if they had to, my mom and dad would have died for me. They loved me as indeed, parents should love their children. The love of my parents and that of my grandmother is second to none but Christ. In spite of the beating, the thorns, the spear, the humiliation, and the curse of the crucifixion, Easter's voice could not be silenced. Easter speaks and says to me: LOVE your enemies, and it's okay to call them friends and treat them respectfully. Remember Jesus and Judas? FACE and do not flee your destiny. Be in step with your destiny's timing. Be quick to FORGIVE unconditionally. GIVE no less than your very best. Remember Jesus and Gethsemane? Regardless of the pain and torture; Though the cross is too heavy to bear; and in spite of betrayers and deserters, FIGHT to the FINISH. Remember Calvary? 031523 Romans 5:7, 8
