Please, Don'T
Inspired by the moving storyline from Episode 6 "Love conquers Al" of the interesting TV show, "Cold Case". This episode is based on the true story of the murder of 16-year-old Adrianne Jones on 04 December 1995, in Texas, USA. Rest in peace. It's sad to think that she and I were both teenagers back then. It's sad when people don't get a chance to live their lives and become their best selves. Life is difficult, but you can only live it if you're alive. "Please, don't...!" By Michelle Morris 09/03/2023 "Please, don't...!" Is the last thing she says to you Before you shoot her dead You and your girlfriend Living out a crazy fantasy Killing someone Will never cleanse your relationship Killing someone Will only tarnish your soul How could you do it? How could you take her life? Punish her for a choice you made? Punish her with fear and death? How do you live with yourself? How do you feel justified? She is gone forever And you go on with your life Going to prison as justice Will never be enough She never had a choice She never stood a chance Looking down from Heaven I wonder how she feels? Surrounded by the angels Helping her try to deal Dying young is a sadness You never get to learn and grow Experience your potential Experience the world unknown If you could do it all again I wonder what you'd choose? Would you stop the dominoes Before you all land up losing? © Michelle Morris, 2023
