Joy from the Lord gladdens heart Securing me from guilt’s dart To vanquish grievous sorrow Toward joyful tomorrow. Joy with Christ radiates hope Smiting threats of despair scope That assures heavenly rest With joyful revival zest. Joy in the Saviour prevails Since His kindness never fails Marked by grand redemption seal Upholding joyful faith’s zeal. Joy is the Almighty’s gift To share triumphant uplift Offered for all, indeed free Marked by joyful goodness spree.
