Harsh Truths
Let the light shine in. Let me out of this darkness. I'm tired of this pain. I’m tired of seeing bars, with the bite marks I made a week ago. 110 million of us, hearing the sound of drills right before the shock.(“animal testing facts and statistics.”) Feeling that cold needle right before it goes into our body. Smelling our burning fur. Force-fed toxic fumes.(“Animal Testing and Experiments FAQ.” ) Pain before death. Pain for the beauty. All this for what? 3 ounces of foundation. From birth to death, it is a short road for us. Never seeing the outside world; never meeting the sun but instead the led lights shining in the lab room. please let us come in Let us lay at your feet. But yet there I lie infected and suffering. (Akhtar, Aysha.) End this for us. There are better ways.
