I Shoulda Seen It Comin'
One day when I was in grammar school while sitting in my class I noticed that my young attractive teacher She had a very cute heart-shaped style a.. Every time she walked on by strutting down the isle My friend would always notice that I'd have a great big smile The jokester that he was And the prankster I became At twelve years old, maybe thirteen I gave myself a name My friend had bet me four fins plus two If when Ms. M had walked her strut That I would nonchalantly take my hand And rest it on her butt In other words, my friend would give me twenty-two dollars To go feel Ms. M's behind With my curious goose, on the loose, I admit, the thought had crossed my mind So, Dazzy, hazy, crazy me I happily made the bet And I took my hand and squeezed her rump And collected on his debt Ms. M was shocked and red in the face And clearly she felt used So, she sent me down to the principles office And claimed she was abused i was a bad boy i shoulda seen it comin' three days suspension I Shoulda Seen It Comin' Poetry Contest Sponsor: John Lawless 1/28/2023
