No Longer His Shadow Shows
He may have been a rogue, but boy he had charisma Liked by many he was, even with a feather in his hair From job to job he, never heeding his tomorrows day Simply didn't give a damn, let them stand and stare Then came that fateful day, when he tried to shimmy down Carrying his swag in his rucksack bag he fell to the ground Crystalline carpet he landed, within seconds he was gone Uknown to him below the snow, shard of glass he fell upon Scattered in sporadic fashion, his swag dotted all around A facsimile, a quartz wall clock, still with tick tocking sound The Officer whom found him all glittering covered in snow In monochromatic decline, no longer his shadow shows Standing at the Church we are, blanket of snow still lies In huddle for our Mr Smith, his labyrinth of paths sleep In comfort we now accept, that to Heavens gate he'll go His song now plays 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' His friends he calls his shower, bearing his coffin high Below this Winters Lunar, our spirits for he, never dies. Another wee challenge to write something using the following - Blanket, charisma, monochromatic, feather, crystalline, facsimile, shard, quartz, glittering, comfort, shimmy, shower, gate, song, Smith, huddle, labyrinth, spirits, lunar & coffin.
