Grieving You
"GRIEVING YOU" (by Michelle L. LeBlanc 11/07/2022) Dedicated to my son, Jayden Donald LeBlanc I wish I could mourn you properly But when I grieve you, I feel sick. I have to block out thoughts at times So I can get through this thicket Before you passed I was fighting for my health Now that I lost you It’s hard to stay on top of everything else Inside I'm crying out Having a hard time processing all this pain Sometimes I don't feel normal Because of the process through my brain I cry easier now though Not as strong as I looked before Thinking is a lot harder Since you never came back through the door Conversations need to be simple I can't think clearly or process many thoughts Need to take things moment by moment Or my mind gets tied in knots But I must remind myself that this is a process In order to get through each and every day Though the pain will always be in my heart There's practices to help me find my way I won't give up moving forward Although I may take a few steps back Not only for my own physical and mental health But because you'd want me to stay on track!
