Do Not Invite the Squirrel
Don’t invite squirrel hedgehog said in a persnickety way. I have to, he’s my bestie especially on a windy day! Hedgehog kept his mouth shut, but he was unhappy for sure. He did not like squirrel’s tail, it was fluffy, and it had its own grr. I am afraid of the tail, hedgehog finally admitted to me. I rolled my eyes and my body and landed under a big oak tree. It’s only a tail, it cannot bite you, I said. Hedgehog argued, my cousin invited squirrel, and now he is dead. How old was your cousin? I asked, wondering now. He was a mere ninety-nine years, and he still rode his own cow. He had a bunch of spunk and sass, my third cousin squirrel. But now he is dead, and frankly, I blame that squirrel.
