Unjust Case
The absence of You feels like a never-ending sky of dread. Dragging itself. Slowly. Painfully. Blanketing everything. Like an unknown darkness. Taking over my entire world. And it leaves me... Breathless. Tired. Numb. And completely dead inside. I dream of painting you in the colours of my love. And keeping you framed. Within the walls of my broken heart. A fear and anger that cannot be stopped. A life lost. With no meaning. Or reasoning. An unjust case of what could never be. And we shall both continue forth. Remembering that once... We set each others souls free. All that I have left now is hope. And my dreams. Wondering forever if You will hold onto the memories of me. Because our love and soul connection Will remain safe Clutched tightly within the damaged cage of my sadness. I will always love you From the distance of our reality. My insecurities. My deepest fears. Being all that remain. Standing between us, you and me Never to embrace what used to be My addiction to We.
