A Letter To My Self
Dear me, I know you are going through a lot And perhaps you want to give up on that blot I know you are worried about all your dark spots And I don`t want to lie to you That you are perfect because you are not I don`t want to make you weak because you are strong But I also want you to notice when you are wrong I want you to know that this world will be hard But that`s okay sweetheart You will be weighed down on different scales But I want you to always bear in mind That you are a masterpiece of God`s creation You will be undermined But that`s nothing you need to mind I want you to focus on being you Because you are enough People will disappoint you But learn to forgive And when you forgive, lock your palace And that`s your heart And in your heart, employ peace To serve you
