Way To Teach the Right and Wrong Way
Here is a lesson I just learned And gladly hopefully in future take on board That in regards to teaching and wishing to correct in order to improve There is both a right and wrong way To tell someone that person what they had done wrong And also how they then may be able to correct it So speaking personally and only on behalf of myself I would ever so sincerely like to give my eternal gratitude and thanks To S . E for teaching me the value of this lesson Then thereafter it is solely down to i If I then choose to carry on regardless blinded however misguided that may be Because I cannot bare the thought I could never not be deemed correct And this i often think is why sadly more often than not My poems and what I write because it is so littered with basic elementary grammatical and error strewed mistakes Those who are both blessed and proficient in English find my poems barely able to read let alone finish And yes to this fact I am patently aware and willingly have to hold my hands up to and truthfully admit Unfortunately though I can't rectify what I don't know I am doing wrong however incorrect As I only just recently found out at the grand old age of my 40 odd year's plus I have found a fondness for and like writing which I never knew let alone contemplated I would Because if I did then just maybe I would have tried and payed more attention at when When my English teacher was trying her level best to teach me how to write And why almost all of my teachers used to say of me I would never amount to anything And technically they were half right As if nothing else I am a halfwit Who still can't and never took the time to master how to read or write
