Climate Change
Palm trees where pines use to be The sun shinning on everything you see The warmth that turns heated in summer July the definition of it gets even warmer The dry heat is the absence of sweat Where I'm from workers get wet Rocks spread out where grass should be I marvel at the different kind of trees Inside the building is the safest flee Away from the heat is fine with me The mountians actually do touch the sky Taller than buildings when you pass them by In the range they might streach for miles A kind of cage if you have to go around But the light and shadows they proudly possess Give a certian awe to the eyes that are blessed How small we become in the presence of giants How humble our souls at Gods reliance The beauty that was held in Gods hand Streached out accross what we call land And that new place that we now call home A brand new taste for a scout to roam Each day a new day in a world not old Brand new feelings that had once grown cold
