I use to watch my ole man Make 3 ton piles of sawdust Into press bricks. He'd go into Town with his truck loaded and a concession stand and sell the wood rocks and rice noodle soup on the weekends. He went on vacation after breaking His collarbone, and that whole winter My wife and I ran the whole operation. I loved the company this business made The noodle soup was delicious. Here is the recipe. 10 quarts of chicken stock 12 cups of Dehydrated vegetables Onion Garlic Broccoli Cabbage Sun dried tomato Carrots Jalapenos Dried shrimp Dried pork 15 cups of rice noodle I'd mock my Dad smoking a pipe Wrapped in a quilt, waiting for the Next customer. I would watch the News.Football, the folk would Gather around with live debates Of sports,God, and politics and Policies. A fella would park his RV beside me and offered his Barbarians services. We started Making donuts, and this place Just started becoming a mobile Weekend spot. Later on people Started bring mobile laundry mats. The sold clothes, when the farmers Started offering greenhouse vegetables And dairy and meat. We have been doing This ever since. The backtrack band started Playing out the back of the truck, People started swaying and I found Myself loving doing Dad's work. He has been here telling what to do Now for 17 years!
