Exciting Still
It was a sweet trip I had to the City under Rock So smooth I didn't know I've pulled a rock In the company of no friends at all I drove swiftly and safely into the city wall When the urgent news of the trip got to me I was happy and proceeded apace to agree Cos trips often disband the pulls of daily life That excitement made me beg my wife When a man is filled with depression Some trips can repress his frustration So in the heart of the city I met these senior colleagues Whose engaging intercourse eased my fatigues On my way back I offered some colleagues a lift Whose efforts to salvage my hazards became a gift Apart from the atrocities of the Nigeria's roads I pulled a rock for not joining a mass transit, maybe I'd have avoided those episodes In spite of those sour experience I still appreciate every beneficence I was able to unplug the pushes of that day Which had since the day before held me sway.
