I have tried to make this pain go away, but it keeps falling like rain. I try to cover it up with this mask called a smile, and maybe if I can't see it, maybe I won't be able to feel it, but the pain keeps weighing heavy on my brain. No more tears they did up now all that remains is an empty cup. Broken and wounded I feel so alone. I know God loves me, but there's a hole in my soul. Lord, I need Your healing touch that would mean so much. Lord take away this pain I feel and erase the terrible memories that torment my soul. I want to feel Your loving embrace. Please take me to a better place.
