Dear Son My Only One
D ying without warning those three sad years ago E ven now I truly can't believe son that you had to go A lone am I since you and dad both died so many tears I've cried R eally should have been me son for you were truly far too young S on I wonder did you get a call to say ‘twas time to go O n that sunny Friday morning you were taken without warning N ow each day my broken heart asks why he called my only son M any tears we all have shed for now you’re gone for now you’re dead Y our loving wife and son and daughter leaving them has changed their lives O nly loving memories left for you my son were called too soon N ever did we ever know that on that Friday you would go L ooking back remembering a truly unreal situation Y ou had gone our hearts and souls were oh so full of devastation O n that sunny Friday morning you were taken without warning N ow the three year anniversary since that fateful sunny day E ven now how can it be three years ~ our tears don’t go away Written 22nd September 2022 As three years fast approach the death of my only Son Contest Anniversary Sponsor Sara Kendrick FIRST PLACE
