Ode To My Favorite Meal
As staple food* for my soul, irresistible Bread of life --- indeed perfectly infallible Chewable, appetizing midst wondrous sweetness Delectable with much honey-glazed graciousness… Ever tasty to my heart for grand existence Flavorful milk does fortify bones’ persistence Grabbing my taste buds to defy bitterness-sting Having me savor pure truth toward health hoisting… Imparting strength to my faith smiting doubt and fear Juicy meats of minerals and vitamins’ gear Keep me best against sin-afflicting viruses Loading well-being along goodness that blesses… Menu God divinely sets as spiritual meal Nourishes me --- that’s the Bible of heaven seal Offering nutritious diet I also share Palatably festive with blissful love and care. Ode in ABC with couplet form *Job 23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
