She gave a precious gift, a nest, I needed for my rootless uncertain life, from where I could spread my wings in the seamless sky and had flown. I soared high and far beyond the horizon, under the caring cover of her weary wings, my boundless ascending aspirations the wild winds couldn’t blow away. I live in the lasting shadow of her undying love, suffuse my memory with gratitude, for it’s her loving hands that sculpted me what I have become. She has left me to reside in her new abode a long time ago.
