Preacher
Preacher Man on the street, standing up for God, speaking words written in heaven, for all on earth to hear. He is a humble man, a warrior brand, that is fading away. The King is coming, God is the King, He is the maker of everything. The word, the bible is true. The sky above is blue. Know that too, is His will. Holding up a sign, ringing a bell, yelling about going to hell, but the people are deaf to the general commotion, made in the oceans of life, all around them. Yet, there are also some... only barely aware but still "there"... the boat is sinking, and they are drowning in a sea of their own worth. The numbness of living lies wearing thin to their disguise. Spit on the preacher man, talking of love and hope for all? Flaunt your entitlement, as you have been promised illusive gain, fame...? Count the days of your "moment", as they will come and they will go. You know, they are numbered, and forever is no longer in reach.
