Six Months of Missing You
Six Months of Missing You (a message for Barbara) By Franklin Price 07/18/2022 Six long months of missing you, are passing by today Since that night in January, when the Lord took you away Could no longer see you suffer, so he lifted you on high And left me here to miss you, and to have me search for why. He has guided me to church again, where great blessings have been found I am trying to proceed along with my feet on higher ground You and Jesus Christ are in me, helping me to run this race To make some contributions, that make this world a better place Memories of our life together, are forever in my soul Our marriage, made in Heaven, is on the top line on the scroll That lists the ones among us, who honored vows until the end It's easy to make promises, when your spouse is your best friend Tears still flow in sorrow, for myself who's here alone I celebrate that you're in Heaven, with our Lord who did atone Who paved your way to Glory, where we'll meet again some day Until then your spirit's in me and helps me move along the way Love always, Frank
