The Darkness of My Soul
You fueled the anger in my heart. I never thought I could ever feel this way. One fleeting moment in history, That is all it took. One ripple in the massive ocean created a tsunami. One glimpse in time, That is what you did. Without a single thought. In one moment, I had everything and the next, You took away my whole world. You turned it upside down and, Everything I worked for is gone. Yes, my money, car, house, and possessions are all gone because you are a, Coward, narcissistic, and a manipulator. My heart has turned to stone. It is in the Black darkness of my soul. I never thought any one person could, Be so evil, so cruel, merely a messager For the devil on earth. This is a warning to all. Be careful of those you trust. They will be the first to take, That knife and thrust it, Straight into your heart. I am lost. I am so crushed. Just from one glimpse in time, In a fraction of a second, it fell apart. The one decision you made destroyed my life. What kind of person does that?? Did you even think about it? This is not the end of me, not by a long shot. So I get up, brush myself off, Pull up my bootstraps and start over. But I have a fire burning and, When I walk into that courtroom, I will no longer be a victim but, I will be your executioner. I will not rest until I hear, That cell door slams shut, Then and only then will I rest.
