A Yummy Sundae Afternoon
A Yummy Sundae Afternoon My tongue anticipates ice cream sundae But do never indulge on a Monday For that's the day the diet starts afore Tuesday when diets fly out through the door. I drool o'er yummy ice cream on my tongue Thoughts of the tasty dish makes me so long For strawberries served at afternoon tea In a gooey knickerbocker glory. With chopped nuts sprinkled and strawberry sauce Those ice cream sundaes could win an award With me they would be scored top of the pops I am an expert as I devour lots. Summer parties do well serving ice cream Strawberries and chilled wine, truly a dream With music, dancing, a natter and fun Bringing magic moments beneath the sun. Betwixt lucky lips my eager tongue licks A mouth watering afternoon dish fix. *+*+*+* 1st July 2022
