If I Had a Daughter
If I had a daughter, I would be the kind of father that owns a muscle car. I would never be seen without my Wrangler jeans. If I had a little girl I would carry her around on my shoulders. People would say: Hi father, who has a daughter. Then a small voice by my right ear would reply: 'That’s my daddy!' Every day I would change her socks. I would search the world for white or pink cotton socks, socks with flowers on them, some with lacy frills. If I had a daughter, she would be a lot better than your daughter, but she would never say so. We would drive to the Wrangler store, then to the sock shop. The ladies who sell cotton socks would admire my jeans. My little daughter would say: 'O daddy, Just look at these pretty cotton socks, can I have them?' Then I would say: 'Sure baby girl, anything for you'.
