From him I bought one waffle cone, Filled with large scoops of fluffy cream As its delicious strawberry flavour, Invaded my tongue Oh, it was heaven! I felt its infinite smoothness, As the texture of satin or silk, Soaking my parched mouth. With my taste buds waltzing on my palate, It slid down through my gullet And its creamy sweetness Sent thrills down my throat Cooling my thummy and beating the heat.
