Wrong Side of History
These bright eyes of mine that you see are not designed for closing or for looking the other way when facing difficulties. My folks taught me to look in peoples' eyes When talking to them. I am proud of my gray hairs that you clearly see, as they symbolize some painful times and toils of years gone by. They speak of deeply rooted principles never to be forgotten. You may see a few wrinkles, but my hearing is just fine. And yes, I heard loud and clear what you said, and I understand your 'whys' and 'wherefores'. But I have been around the bin a few moons or so, and you will have to have more than that to convince me to freely hand over everything my forefathers have fought and died for. You see, I know the agenda, and I know the plan. I hear the bells and whistles, but I also see the hand writings on the wall, and it's telling me that 'right is right, and wrong is wrong'. And it's telling me most convincingly that 'right' will always outlast 'wrong'. I know and understand history, and I have got to tell you my friend, that everything you are saying to me puts you and all who think like you on the wrong side of history. 060422PSCtest, The Pastel, Craig Cornish
