The Bible Tabernacle
The Bible Tabernacle By Franklin Price 05/29/2022 My wife passed in January. The Lord came down, took her away I made a promise then to Jesus, that I would praise him every day Would again, be going back to church. It had been so very long We both believe He died for us. I'd praise him again in song Had no idea of where to go. I was sure that church had changed Would the Spirit be in all of them, or would they all be rearranged? I asked the Lord to guide me, lead me along the way His voice then whispered in my ear and he had these words to say “As you go on without her, let My spirit be your guide I never ever will mislead you, will always be there by your side We have a choice to make together, of where your church should be I will point out a few of them, then you can go to each and see” I followed in his wisdom and each Sabbath day I went To a different church God showed me, I would go where I was sent I saw the Lord in all of them, to a varying degree Some I had to search intensely, so I moved along to see Invited by a loving neighbor, as we were down on bended knee He's at the Bible Tabernacle, why don't you come with me and see? Would I ever walk into a church, and feel the good Lord's loving grace? I came to the Tabernacle and I looked upon his face. I asked God, when I left that day, should I continue with my search? God said, “It's your decision, I've shown my dove upon its perch Did you feel that I was present, with no doubt that I was there? Did you feel the power of Me and of all My love and care?” Of course I knew the answer, knew that God had shown the way I wrote this poem to celebrate and I'm returning on this day I pray to God this congregation understands that it is clear That we are within his presence, and that the Lord our God is here.
