Devil Eyes
I've been so close to death, so close I could almost taste it, I almost drew my last breath. I remember every second and I hate it. How could someone you love hurt you so bad? You held me from above and drowned me in your deranged love ballad. You never gave me an option, it was dance with the devil or end up in a coffin. Why couldn't we be civil? Why are you so evil? I'll never forgive your atrocity, for the pain I feel within me. Hurry up and unmask me, lift the black so I can see. Have mercy on me. As I close my eyes at night memories of you flood my mind, can't breathe, my throat is tight, because all I can think is, "What will happen next time?" I could see it from the moment I looked into your eyes after that first hit you looked at me with your devil eyes and I knew it was my time to die.
