Change
Change (by Nora) The oceans shine so bright. The glaciers bring a breathtaking sight. The forests make a perfectly, peaceful place at night. There aren't any problems, right? What we don't see, due to the deep darkness within the sea, is that underneath there are fish that choke on something that is not seaweed. What we don't notice, because barely a being talks about this prognosis. Is that sooner and later, coastal states, islands and villages will be drowned by water. Their people will be begging for shelter. What we don't hear, are the screams of hiding, fleeing, burning animals in fear. The already dried out rainforest caught fire. All this for one group’s desire. The lungs of earth are slashed and burnt. All this pain for profit and gain. This can't be the truth, right? Creeping fire, burning it's way through wood and flesh. Taking lives as if it's in a video game to catch. Hungry polar bears, thin to their bones. Suffering and seeking for their homes. Animals near the oceans dying deaths to plastic pollution. On beaches you find treasures, dig deep, the treasures are buried in trash. No place is safe from natural disasters anymore. The occurrences leave the people sore. Safety and help is what many are hoping for. Great loss of forests and homes. Then fire and coal go hand in hand towards where the companies stand. Everything is out of line. But at least some are doing fine.
