I Want To Meditate With Roy Orbison
I was in the middle of a PowerPoint About Pastafarianism Then I noticed someone in the corner Not paying attention Lost, looking tired I heckled to him "Paul, quick, candy-coloured clown..." He found the song on his laptop I checked the speakers and adjusted the volume I picked Up the microphone and sang, looking at the student in the corner... "Go to sleep, everything is alright." They listened and watched with great Intensity We had all dived within I told them I didn't want a golf ball-sized consciousness I will put my Godliness in a jar We looked at a quote from a character from Don Quixote 'God bless the man who invented sleep'. Someone at the front raised his hand "Why Doesn't he just commit suicide then?" Shelly in the second row asked me, "Are you a Humanist?" Before I Could answer There was a knock at the door Just as We had all Dived-within Alvin on my left said to me, "God bless the man who invented sleep." And I sang again and crooned to them, "Go to sleep, everything Is Alright."
