There is love of pets, love with no regrets; and we know that such great love bring us great grief, for love's brother- death comes a cold-hearted thief. Love is a treasured thing ! There is the love of grandparents so nice, I loved their small farm; it had such sweet charm, now, my grandma and grandpa rest in peace. I loved my 'true' love, he left like a dove; then, the love of my baby boy filled my heart, this love God wanted- so he had to depart. Love is a treasured thing ! There is the special love of loyal friends, sharing hopes and dreams; and walks along streams, my love for my faithful friends never ends. Love nature always, at scenes I just gaze; I love all the birds and creatures on this earth, and I have since a child- each creature has worth. Love is a treasured thing ! And to memories cling ! __________________ April 11, 2022 Poetry/Rhyme/Garinage/Love Is a Treasured Thing Copyright Protected, ID 04-1447-142-11 All Rights Reserved, 2022, Constance La France Theme Chosen - #15 Love Written for the Standard contest, U Choose sponsor, Anthony Biaanco, Judged 05/03/2022 Fifth Place
