What suffering the Son of God endured. His own disciples couldn’t stay awake watching over Him that painful night. They fled when He was captured. One even had betrayed Him just for silver coins. Whipped over and over again most cruelly with lashes that cut deep into His skin while being mocked and having a crown of thorns placed on His head, what suffering the Son of God endured.
