My past has me weak, Tears streaming down my cheeks, So angry that I have to Find a release. It doesn't come with ease, You have to make promises You can't keep. If you're too afraid to fall You'll never take the leap. Unless you put the drugs down In hopes it turns your life around. My happiness must have ended up In the lost and found Or on the ground, Face down. I have to remind myself; Chin up, Fix my crown, And put the pieces back together So I feel less broken.
