Tenfold
3/20/22 Use to have on a blindfold Always chasing fool's gold Problems came tenfold Lost sight of goals Continually losing control Fell into a black hole Despite the toll Never sold my soul Still got a heart of gold A lot of lies being told Yet again B.S. unfolds Until I'm old There'll always be trolls As well as gulls And people that scold In a world that can be beautiful or cold Constantly I mull In every direction, it all pulls Can be difficult to cull Endless thoughts inside my skull Had to be bold Put it all on hold Took a stroll Ended up at the North Pole Oh no not him again When will it end? A bunch of backstabbers, nitpickers and crud talkers, ya'll suck Can't sweat the small stuff Messed it all up Blew it away in the wind What happen to the discipline? Went back to it and did it again You'd think I committed sin Don't compare me to every citizen At your own risk, try and call me a simpleton On a planet tainted with carcinogens From here to beyond Michigan Often they say "it depends" But it's not the same, much was different then Since a kid always been a friend She's headed toward Wimbledon Owns a dog a named Cinnamon And takes care of her dad on Insulin What a peculiar path I'm on They tell me to find god Not temporary it's lifelong Can quit or fight on Big difference between right and wrong Many of times I defied the odds I helped animals such as frightened dogs And white swans According to Who Me or you? Am I doing right in life Or losing the fight and sight Of what's important Meanwhile true potential lays dormant Another step backwards or closer toward it In space I drifted Often felt conflicted Struggling due to being addicted
