Benefits of Extracurricular Activities
Everyone seems happy, but no one understands what It feels like to feel badly. The 60 percent in sports, the 30 percent in clubs, but I'm 100 percent alone. All these kids have friends, have hobbies, they enjoy. But I can't find a passion, something to look forward to. Some people have sports, something they love. But that has never interested me, the way that's intended. There are some clubs, but nothing I would like. I would enjoy having something new, maybe a writing club or jewelry club or two. I hear about all the benefits, but nothing I have felt myself. All these friends that are made, I want to enjoy the experience too. 70 percent of students who completed a survey claim that Extracurriculars help mental health. But how am I supposed to experience the benefits, If I have certain limits. I want to find something I'm passionate about, I no longer want to feel any doubt. The art club at school, seems kinda cool. I recently joined, and it so far I can see people's point, The lonely feeling I felt before, Has now been restored. I made a new friend, we both agree, that we wish there were clubs for her and me. I didn't know anyone else felt loss, until I met her and now I'm fine. I had some hesitation, in wondering how it would affect my education. But so far there has been no problem, and actually, my grades have actually blossomed. I'm now a part of that 30 percent, and trust me my time is well spent. I wish I had the experience sooner, cause it does contribute to my future. Even if it took me awhile, I can say it's definitely worthwhile.
