Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required As the winter drifts with the northern wind Some high latitude areas of north hemisphere Will be in the clasp of sporadic snowstorms Others will be mantled with dense opaque frost Longing to feel the reviving warmth of the sun People need to bear the chill for a fortnight. After winter haze clears the weather will change The spring will arrive floating in the crispy air With the radiance of cerulean sky crystal clear And with amiable ambiance of temperate days Not to last long for the temperature will increase At the onset of scorching summer of discontent. With active El Niño the prospect of rains is favorable The southern wind will spread moisture laden cloud Overcast monsoon sky in some areas may fall asunder After unpredictable cloud bursts one after another Cyclones and tropical storms will spin on trade winds Wreak havoc in low-lying areas with frequent floods. The nimbus clouds will waft away clearing the sky Low atmospheric disturbances will slowly subside As awaited autumn will arrive with nip in the air Occasional gusty winds at the advent of the fall Will blow away wilted leaves from shedding trees Make way for the freezing footfall of another winter. ___________________ March 10, 2022 Contest : You're A Weather Forecaster Sponsored by : Matt Caliri
