This Evening Just a Week Ago
This Evening Just a Week Ago By Franklin Price 01/25/2022 This evening just a week ago, my soul mate left this life The best friend that I ever had; grandmother, mother and my wife November twenty-first, this year, would have been year fifty three I'll still be celebrating, and she'll still be here with me. She'll be here in my heart and mind, yet be looking from above, Through a window in our heaven's home, she'll be sending me her love. I am sad for me, I'm here alone, in this house we made our own, Doesn't seem a week ago; my how the mourning time has flown. If not for family and friends, who have shown their love for me, I'd be consumed by my sweet sorrow, in a place I should not be. There are so many of you who live alone without your spouse Yet are sending me condolences, with love, here to my house. I know it can't be easy, bringing hurt back to the top. I thank God that he has sent you. Pray to Him you do not stop Please know how much you've helped me in this first week of my grief God has seen the caring from your hearts, that your love has brought relief More than I can count have helped me. I know that you miss her too. I feel your arms around my shoulders, that's what caring people do. Each day is getting easier to move along and not to cry. I don't question that God took her first. It's not my place to question why.
