A Ghost In Between
Feel the icy touch of who I am now. Am I something heaven might still now save? I belong neither to you nor to them. Dead and dry as the bones in an old grave. The cold, icy feel of my long dead breath. No romance to kiss my cold, longing lips. My ride, my car is the pale horse of death. My tongue is the venom a dead corpse sips. Through floors I do rise and through walls I walk. In this realm demons and angels crowd close. As I float, I listen as they all talk. Demons mean evil; angels they stay close. In great pain I straddle heaven and hell. My life I recall with love and much hate. My frozen mind still has secrets to tell. Was life easy, or did I walk the strait? My ghost now walks a lonely and cold path. Will I rise to heaven, or suffer wrath? Who Am I? 2/7/22 Unseeking Seeker
