Acknowledgment
My hope for 2022, is you will always carry with you, self-confidence strong enough, and be able to be found, to draw upon, to shield your heart, before and after blows. Especially when the hurts, originate from parents, family, or feeling too far down. Don’t ever look in the mirror too long, at the outside, and forget what you look like inside. What I have seen, and others continue to see, it’s amazing. Hope you will talk to me again, even knowing, my sins and mistakes were significant, in some ways I handled things with you. Being aware in hindsight, made the apologies come too late, after alienation, and walls were built tall and strong. Only continued acts of forgiveness, can possibly open now closed doors, for the start, and to gain momentum for repentance. Won’t even a small investment in each other now, prove to be a valuable resource of knowledge and experience, not realized? in our respective futures? Why shut doors all the way? It’s just as easy to reopen one outward, to acknowledge someone. Especially when caring can be demonstrated, saved from permanent indifference from the hearts we once touched and awakened, and now try to open in acknowledgement when not deserved?
