Pay Rent Or Leave
I’m sorry to have to do this but I have no other choice, I just can’t take this anymore, I can’t listen to the sound of your voice It has taken residence up in my mind and it haunts me every day, reminding me that you’re still here with me and all of the things that I still wish you to say You didn’t sign a lease back then because you didn’t know your time frame, it was shorter than was expected and caused more damage then I can say You came in and tore down all of the walls that I had built within, and you placed your beautiful face in their absence so that I could never forget Not that I could anyway, even if I wanted to, you were the best tenant I ever had and now I don’t know what to do You have no right to be here, you don’t even pay me rent, my mind is so tired of fighting with your memory, I am so spent So please if you’re not going to stay then pack your bags and leave, take the rest of you when you go, just let me be I don’t need unwanted visitors in my space, all that I want is a vacancy to take your place I don’t want to think anymore, I don’t want to feel, I want to lock the door, throw away the key, and believe this isn’t real I didn’t invite you in, you showed up here after you had long ago left, so tell me what you want from me? The baggage? The rest? Please just go, just turn around and leave, because I can’t do this anymore, I’m not the home that you seek I thought that I was back then, and oh how I wanted to be, but you’re the one that locked the door on the future of you and me.
