The Naughty and Niceness of Winter Days
The naughty and niceness of Winter days A blizzard of hate or blanket of snow? Celebrations of violence or praise? Will unity of man wither or grow?* The naughty and niceness of Winter days… Drunkenness and malice toward God and man, Blasphemy on every carolers tongue, Attempted destruction of heaven’s plan… The naughty and niceness of Winter days. Alms for the poor - blankets and coats accord. Open hands for strangers, widows, orphans. Cornucopia: meat and milk - God’s word. The naughty and niceness of Winter days. A blizzard of hate or blanket of snow? Celebrations of violence or praise? Will unity of man wither or grow? The naughty and niceness of Winter days. The purchase of souls for evil or right? The glory of God or the deepest night? Saints of the Holy Spirit obey. The naughty and niceness of Winter days. Does a cross on your back sound inviting? A night of cold, labor, and loud mooing? In the end it’s Christ who does the consoling. The Father, looks on, far above the stars, Sees the naughty and niceness of one’s days. Those willing to forego a fortnight’s pleasure. One’s years spent serving Him in the desert. The naughty and niceness of Winter days A blizzard of hate or blanket of snow? Celebrations of violence or praise? Will unity of man wither or grow? 11/30/2021 man - all people, the human race
