Paulette-1
When I saw her, I could not believe it was my old classmate Paulette. I had not seen her since college when she was delightful and filled with joy. She began to tell me of her parents' tragic fatal accident that occurred last year. She and her husband had two children, one of which died of leukemia 6 months ago. Paulette and her husband were going through a divorce when her parents were killed. Her teenage son took up with a gang and drugs when they divorced, and his life is a mess. Paulette was an only child which means, with so much misfortune, there is absolutely no one. My wife and I were speechless as she shared her life with us, and we were ears and shoulders. She's still relatively young and in time there could be changes, but right now, my old friend is sad. We pray God will bring seasons of joy, helping Paulette forget the past and embrace the future. 110921PSCtest, Paulette (1), Julia Ward
