I charged the course and started with a scat. The pathway steepened over rocks and roots I hastened forward never did I squat. Instead of walking shoes I needed boots. A trail so rugged, can make ankles twist. In rocky terrain there no better routes. I reached the waterfall and raised my fists. My mountain trek up Walter’s rugged trail reminded me that when I face life’s twists, which sorely threaten my life to derail if I persevere, I will never fail.
