Think Tank
On a daily basis, its citizens encountered an avalanche of negativity. They willfully opened their treasured minds with delight, and received it, Never considering or realizing the delusion, damage, and danger. This land* of free speech and free thought was much like our own. The massive inflow of rhetoric never came with a filtration system, nor with any hope of resolution. No one asked for second opinions. There was no need because everyone was free to their own opinions. Everyone did what was right in their own eyes, and the right that they knew was to be found in their massive storage of 'tanks'. None of their tanks contained any proven ideals and principles that build great people. However, amidst all the tanks, there was one tank called 'The Think Tank'. The Think Tank was wrapped with a sign that read, "Think On These Things". The contents of that tank was vastly different with a few things to think about. There were 8 things to think about in the beautifully wrapped tank.** There were TRUTH and JUSTICE. There were HONOR and PURITY. There was EXCELLENCE. And the last three were in the form of a question: Is it Pleasing? Is it commendable? Is it Praise Worthy? The entire community held an election to decide on having multiple tanks or one single think tank. The overwhelming majority voted for the one think tank that was wrapped with the sign, "Think On These Things". They began to think on the 8 things contained in that think tank, and the thinking of that entire community was radically changed. 100921PS *Fiction based on truth. **Philippians 4:8
