Glitter Dome
I guess I thought a couple of years or so ago To hold the cures or hold the ills, or even myself, alone.... But in the end I found no reward anymore, within the world of my own! What purpose, what gain I thought, from merely this? What treasure would I hold onto, then, as I took times final bow? What impact if any, did my words ever impart, towards the souls of beyond? What was the reason and the meaning of this my life, then? For I have long now realized, the graveyard of self intent, for only one.... Like wading in waters and staying afloat, yet, never really going anywhere Except perhaps, to a bank somewhere someday, to make another deposit Within this vault of quickly passings deluded mirage While walking through a crowd of reaching hands, asleep Reaching to pull me into their own minds and sights Amid the colorful confetti parade, of glory and fame, and, nothing.... Standing amazed, and somewhat ashamed, as I look toward the skies Confounded and astounded, as I walk by this sea of faces, which align these streets Smiling and cheering and waving, at me, while a tear flows down my cheek Am I a cure? Am I an ill? Or, just lost? Gathering my ounce of golden dust, within the bag of illusions I have beheld.... One life to live, one breath to breathe, one, world to see? Thinking to myself once more, as I lay aside this pen Seculars visions, again-crumbling this page, and casting it away! I have spoken of the cures, and I have spoken of the ills...."My Views" For in the end of it all, I have found no answers, clearer than these!? And I shall never buy a book, that shall never tell the tale, of eternity.... Tilting my head, and slowly lowering my eyes, thinking, how could this ever be? Smiling, with my finger pressed to my lip~turning, towards the chapter which now reads ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beyond, the death of glitter dome....
