Nothing Is Eternal
There's nothing left of the past. For it wasn't meant to last. I sit here wondering how it all came to an end. It was for the best, a betrayal that time can only mend. Nothing lasts forever my dear friend. No more sorrow, don't think or worry about tomorrow. The darkness doesn't last forever. It will get better. Life is full of obstacles and it's too short to live in fear. I feel relieved, even if you're not nearby. Maybe it's for the best, for I refuse to cry. Letting go of all the pain, enjoying the endless rain. My destiny is unknown, but I will embrace whatever comes my way. No matter what others may say. Starting today, I cherish every single day. There's a moment of clarity in everyone's path. Deciding between wrath-- Or bliss, You are no longer the one, I miss.
